The first 1998 Natural Building Colloquium on the East Coast is taking place June 7-13, 1998 in Davidson, Maryland. Although this is not a women's only event, the benefits for women knowing about sustainable natural building is innumerable. These types of building methods and all the ideas that come with it make it more accessible for women to own and build their own homes. Women's shelters and those fighting domestic violences need to know about this type of building as emergency building can be built inexpensively and quickly.
