This exciting new journal works at the intersections of
international relations, politics and women's studies. In the International
Feminist Journal of Politics (IFjP) leading scholars have created a unique
forum to foster debate and development in this vital and rapidly growing area.

Cross-cultural and international in its contributors and content,
IFjP aims to build a critical community of writers and readers, covering
aspects of theory and practice accessibly. Research employing a diverse
range of methodologies is welcomed.

The International Feminist Journal of Politics:
     - Encourages submission of papers that explore broad definitions of
politics in theory and practice within a global frame. It pursues
debates on contemporary conditions and provides a forum for national,
     sub-national and local studies.
     - Emphasizes connections between, and among, women, how gender infuses
and is shaped by different political processes and social relations,
and how subjectivity, identity politics and material relations shape
and are affected by both global and national politics.
     - Includes research on women, gender relations and sexuality through
international relations, political theory, international political
economy and globalization studies, comparative politics, peace
research, international law, development studies, political geography
     and cultural studies.
     - Examines transnational processes, border and territorial questions,
institutional politics, communications and technological concerns,
debates and discomforts around gender and the category of women, race
and class in national and cross-national contexts.
