Meeting dates: November 6-7, 1998
The North East Popular Culture/American Culture Associations will meet
in Boston on Beacon Hill during the Fall. Here is an early list of the
Area Chairs for the meeting, people who will be forming panels for the
wonderful meeting. This regional group always does its meeting right;
the location at Suffolk University--right next to the Massachusetts
State House designed by Bullfinch and within walking distance of Fanueil
Hall--should be a delight for all. (Contact the relevant Area Chair for
details. When all else fails, contact Peter Holloran-listed below.)
I have attended the last three meetings of this regional organization
and urge those who wish to learn about the right way to handle popular
culture to attend this meeting in Boston, Massachusetts.
