Dear Colleagues
I am part of the editorial commitee of a book in progress that is
aimed at responding to attacks against women's studies, in
particular and representations of feminism that have 'the claim to
know'. We are looking for contributions to the following volume.
Please contact Lynda for further information.
Thanks

RECONFIGURING FEMINISM:
Issues in Feminist Social and Political Theory
This collection will trace recent shifts in alliances between Feminism
and
various political theories and theorists. Configurations such as
Feminism
and Marxism, Liberal Humanist Feminism, Care Ethics and
Communitarianism,
Postmodernism and Anarcho-Feminism will be central themes. The volume
also
aims to assess recent criticisms of the direction of feminist political
theory. Attacks on Women's Studies, criticism from the direction of
queer
theory and critiques of "political correctness" are possible topics for
contributors.
