hey chris,
I am kinda lazy, but not in the least fatalistic. I have faith in the
planet and the species, but it is faith that we will grow and change and
not faith that any higher power is going to fix it for us. I'm not waving
the fairy wand of autumn, but i think there is a lot that is on its way out
the door now. I hope we lose a lot more cultural baggage and a lot fewer
species.I guess i left mycellf open to misinterpretation on this. You are
quite right that we have real problems that need to be addressed head on
and right away, I certainly didn't mean to imply otherwise. I've spent a
while exploring your site and links and i think you are doing a wonderful
job and are close to the heart of the whole problem. (I'm reading The
Hebrew Goddesses now).
What i was trying to say is that these forces are REAL so we can throw a
lot of cultural bathwater out without fear of losing the baby.
