I disagree with your disagreement. Sexism and Racism are rooted in a
belief and a reliance on a dualistic structure of conceptualizing the
universe where there is "good vs evil, light vs. dark, right vs. wrong,
white vs. black, up vs. down, male vs. female..." etc. This way of
conceptualizing the universe opens the schema up to all priviledge,
whether it be white over black, male over female, hetero over homo, etc.
etc. etc....

& thanks Paisain for your response I was going to but you said pretty much
what I would have I will add however the following from one of my journals;
The root of racism being fear of race mixing, therefore the
real root & the reason for "civilizing" the "savage" peoples is rooted
in the patriarchal domination of women. The savage peoples were
often gylanic so the "civilized" peoples saw it as a threat to their
androcratic society. By condemning these societies as "uncivilized"
& "savage" they could both keep their women from seeing the better
positions of women in these societies & have a convenient excuse for
forced conversion of these societies. To explain it another way,
placing the normative valuation that these societies were somehow
inferior & it was their responsibility to improve them. So the real
reason for fear of race mixing was fear of loosing the women to
these more gylanic societies in particular loosing the property
relationship to women, children & the home that is so crucial to the
survival of androcracy. Given that the ultimate way to debase
anything with a of some kind is to make it chattel as in the way of
androcracy, then you have the easy excuse to treat it/they as less
than you are & further it/they will agree with you & go along.
Gylany is the culture of an egalitarian Goddess centered world that we could
eventually evolve back into.
Androcracy is the current & past state of affairs between men & women.
