The "Bulletin of the Environmental Studies Association of Canada / Le
Bulletin de l'Association Canadienne des Etudes Environnementales" invites
submissions of an informational nature to its next newsletter. We especially
invite announcements of events, upcoming conferences, calls for papers,

conferences, of which the next, on "Science, Technology and the Rise of
Nature" (co-sponsored by the Society for the Social Studies of Science),
will be held from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, 1998 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For
