Will are the matriots here the feminine faces of creation? Are there any
male/matriots? I think the use of either word patriot/matriot creates the
dualism of perspective - the use and practice of these words humanism and
spiritualism can save the world (there are no dualisms in those words - they
are all encompassing) - when male is female and female is male and spirit is
supreme and not materialism - then we can save the world - until then it is us
against them - them against us - matriot against patriot - not one big happy
family under the sky the way it should be - material against spiritual - a
constant battle - the only unity will come when everyone is respected as an
individuals - spirituality is taken to its highest level of global
consciousness - materialism is frowned upon and the Earth is respected for
what it really is a living organism that needs us to live in harmony with it
and the creatures - not a material thing - not made by humans - a organism
designed by a Creator - mysterious and worthy of saving for that reason -

Well, i must admit i'm surprised at the response to the idea of matriotism.
I like wordplay and neologisms and i thought it a useful and nearly
self-explanatory concept.
Of course males can be matriots, just as some of the most ardent patriots i
know are female. I was thinking for sure that everyone on this list is a
matriot. I'm simply suggesting this as a word for allegiance first to the
planet as a whole and not to a nation state. This isn't a counterpoint to
patriotism, IMO its a further development.
