As an interdisciplinary journal, we hope to attract papers from a variety of disciplines. Papers should address the topic in creative ways and should work to further the project of feminist analysis. Possible topics might include (but are by no means limited to): * social justice and technology * access to technology * * the technology of sex * cloning * * gender and the "information age" * * women in science/technology * * technorealism, technophobia, technophilia* * representations of technology * prostheses * * technologies of war * * gender and technologies of mental heath * * feminism and technologies of international development * * environmental racism * alternative energy sources * * workplace technologies * occupational safety and health * * gender and bioethics * technology and imperialism * * aeronautics and the colonization of space * * reproductive technologies * * technology and disability * * technologies of capital and the state * * using new technologies to organize for social change * Manuscripts should be 4,000-6,000 words and double-spaced. Submit three single-sided copies. Please include a 150-200 word abstract, a brief biographical note, institutional and departmental affiliation, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Papers will be published in MLA style but may be submitted in the accepted form of your academic discipline. If your papers is accepted, you will be asked to submit it on a computer disk.
