Merry Christmas or should I say hold onto your gonads?
For all the writing I have done about biodiversity apocalypse, the trees of
life and knowledge and the verdant cross, I never stopped to think about
the christmas tree.
When I did a day ago, I had an immediate nasty realization ... this spells
castration ... too many pine cones ... and of course Barabara Walker had it
... it IS the Attis trees of Rome woven into roman Christianity.
Just as the Easter egg is pagan, so is the Christmas tree
The two great festivals of Christian giving are pagan to the core!
