In my personal experience (which is alot) most of this teasing is just "shit
falling downhill" & those being teased are at the bottom of the pile.
These children who tease are growing up in household environments that are
unhealthy often recieving at the very least emotional verbal abuse. These
kids have to vent somewhere. This teasing that is going on is just a symptom
of a larger problem our society has & individually these kids have. The
majority of people in our society don't know how to criticize another
constructively never mind teasing another without hurting others' feelings.
It has been my experience that the vast majority of men out there use
"teasing" as a way to manipulate women into doing what they want them to or
being what they want them to. Most don't even realize they are doing it
because our society has told them since they were little kids that this is the
way they are supposed to be. Women do this too but to a lesser degree after
all women are supposed to be the sensitive ones. & what is always said when
one complains of being teased, you're being over sensitive grow a thicker
skin. well many people do grow that "thicker skin" & then can't feel anything
towards other human beings never mind other things. Pink Floyd calls it
"comfortably numb". this is one reason why the divorce rate is so high. I
could go on but this teasing must stop if our race has any hope of evolving
beyond what we are now or for that matter even surviving what we are now.
