Joe,
This debate is not whether or not animals are people. Those of us involved are
aware that animals are not people.  However, people are not the only ones who
feel pain and have feelings.  The relevance of this to this debate is whether
or not it is ethical to inflict pain and suffering on another who feels pain
in a confined, tortuous factory farm condition.

As far as unleesh having a thick skull, I have yet to see you make a neutral
comment so I would not throw stones.
