Accommodations for disabled are seldom and virtually always inadequately made
everywhere, in or out of natural environs. It is the able-bodied who decimate
our parks. If the same restrictions faced by the disabled were levied through
legislation (the barring of mobility within parks, etc.) our natural environs
would not be so very scarred and mutilated by off-round vehicles, including
snowmobiles as well as with the trashing and littering made by the able-
bodied. I fear your response suggests that you have little association with
the disabled and the role of exposure to natural environs in healing the mind
and body or is only for the young and very able. Please note that bodily
capabilities also can change with aging.
