incedentally for those of you who obviously didn't know in the paralympics
there are specific athletic events using the special bikes & also equestrian
events etc. Also the city hosting the regular olympics is reuired to host the
paralympics immediately afterwards. If only they'd apply that same rule to
the network airing the regular olympics people would be significantly more
enlightened regarding us.

go do some research before you go saying what we can or can't do.
Incedentally a vast majority of us have been on the net long before the
majority of you abled people. I had my first account on a BBS in 90' & that
is generally quite late for a vast majority of us. So the next time you see
someone in a wheelchair don't stare at them like they are really sick or
retarded; they may be way smarter than you & they may be way healthier or tell
them you pray for a cure unless they have something terminal. I for example
have nothing fatal & would rather see them cure cancer & HIV before they work
on what's wrong with me. I bloody hate the way you all make me feel excluded
just because I'm differently abled & I'm not remotely alone in that
resentment, alot of us feel that way justifiably.
