Subject: URGENT: Maryland Doctors Targeted on Website

Maryland NARAL Activists and MRC Members:

The Nuremberg Files, the anti-choice website currently on trial
in Oregon for listing the personal information of doctors who
perform abortions, has added a NEW page to their site as of
yesterday that SINGLES OUT AND SPECIFICALLY LISTS THE PHONE
NUMBERS, OFFICE & HOME ADDRESSES, AND PHOTOS OF MARYLAND ABORTION
PROVIDERS. TO DATE, MARYLAND IS THE ONLY STATE TO BE PROFILED.
To view this page, go to
http://www.bestchoice.com/atrocity/MD.htm

MindSpring, the company that hosts this website, has been asked
to remove this material but has ignored such requests. We are
encouraging all activists to contact MindSpring IMMEDIATELY and
let them know that this site is being used to promote terrorism
and assassination.

MindSpring's terms state "Threats of bodily harm or destruction
of property are always prohibited." The home page for this site
lists doctors who have been wounded in grey and those who have
been killed with a line through their name. In addition, the site
asks for help in collecting "photos or videotapes of the
abortionist, their car, their house, friends, and anything else
of interest" and "current and past personal data including date
and place of birth, home and business addresses and phone
numbers, Social Security numbers, automobile plate numbers, names
and birthdates of spouse(s), children and friends." Finally, the
site lists articles extolling the bravery and virtues of people
who have been indicted for or convicted of murder.

To contact MindSpring, send an e-mail to the attention of Charles
Brewer, President, at [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you are a
customer of MindSpring, Pipeline, or Sprynet (two MindSpring
subsidiaries), make sure to note that in your e-mail. Let them
know that the targeting of abortion providers for violence and
intimidation will not be tolerated!

We will keep you posted on the Federal case currently pending
against the creators of this site.
