To Nicole and Mandy;
     Thanks for being in the world!  I hope there are more folks like
you in the universities these days; there certainly didn't seem to be
in my day; you were either a fundamentalist who believed in hellfire
for everyone else, or you were 'nothing'.  But the two of you are
broad minded and tolerant and yet have a profound and inspiring faith!
 Forgive me if my last post sounded harsh.  The last time a Christian
got on this list the squabbling was just too much; and it filled up my
mailbox once or twice, even in digests. 
(Not that the only time was due to the Christian; the debate on
vegetarianism did the same thing!)
