Asia is the most populated continent on the planet. The prevalence of
Chinese traditional medicine is pervasive throughout. I've lived in the
Far East for quite a few years, and can attest to both demand and the
amount of money individuals will pay for these traditional cures. There
has been plenty of clashes between "Western" environmental/animal rights
groups and the cultures of that particular regions on the issues. It's a
clash between two totally different paradigms, with both thinking that
the other is quite mad.
