The Ecofeminism and World Renewal Seminars
My idea is to set up a rolling series of generative 'think tank' seminars
in which we conceive the ecofeminist transformation of planet Earth
together now. I would like to phase this with 2000 as the biodiversity
restoration in time to save the genetic heritage. The aim is to promote a
practical and socially-transformative dialogue in which we run ahead of
social change on the big futuristic issues and fertilize the 'undergrowth'
or hypophysis.
We treat gene tech ethics, biodiversity and genetic holocaust and
restoration, ecofeminist social liberation to a sustainable democracy.
Gender and social injustice and ecosystemic abundance.
I am trying to persuade Jane to apply for the Oregon fellowship on the
basis that we use it to invite you all to come and catalyse the
eco-restoration together with genetic ethicists etc. in time for a world
gathering in 2000. The whole event would grace Oregon a hundred-fold over
the fellowship on its own. It could bring the entire ecofeminist vision to
one 'place' for a whole season leading up to the millennium.
So who's for a summer of rolling thunder conceiving the ecofeminist world
transformation for life among the tall pines?
