Womens Lives,
Womens Voices,
Womens Solutions:
Shaping a National Agenda for Women in Higher Education
March 27-29, 2000
Usher in a new era for women in higher education!
Create strategies to improve campus climates and the status of women in
higher
education for the 21st century.
Join a national conversation with students, faculty, and staffboth women
and
menthroughout the United States to discuss key issues that affect the
education, advancement, and success of women in higher education.
In a forum made possible by satellite technology, we will discuss how
colleges
and universities can better support women as teachers, learners, and
creators of knowledge, and be healthier, more productive places for women to
work. Explore how we can access womens talents by building upon the
strengths of our diversity, breaking down barriers, and creating campus
environments that allow all people to work up to their full potential.
You may participate by:
o Coming to the University of Minnesota and attending the
three-day conference, March 27 - 29, 2000
o Organizing a teleconference downlink site at your college or university
