Flynt to publish more GOP sex accounts
WASHINGTON, March 3 (UPI) - Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt
plans to detail the
sexual escapades of as many as 21 congressional Republicans in the
magazine's
upcoming April 6 edition.
Hustler editors told The Hill, a Capitol Hill newspaper, that the
upcoming exposes include at
least one senator and one impeachment manager, who both continued
their illicit
relationships during the impeachment and trial of President Clinton.
The alleged affairs will be supported by pictures, dates and possible
accounts from the
women involved.
"We have pictures of them in bars, beaches. They're kissing and
groping," Hustler editor
Allan MacDonell told The Hill.
MacDonell said Hustler maintained high standards of evidence
gathering and fact checking.
At one point, he claimed, the magazine's investigators obtained a
semen sample, allegedly
from a lawmaker, sent to them on a towel - but had no DNA samples
from the congressman
to make a comparison.
The 84-page special report is the culmination of Flynt's campaign to
expose those he
considered "hypocrites" in the impeachment trial of President
Clinton. Flynt took out
full-page ads in newspapers across the country last October offering
up to $1 million to
anyone willing to detail extramarital affairs with congressional
Republicans.
Flynt's efforts were largely responsible for the resignation of House
speaker-to-be Bob
Livingston, R-La., who stepped down in December after Flynt uncovered
accounts of his
own relationships. Flynt also released details of a messy divorce
case involving House
impeachment manager Rep. Bob Barr, R-Ga., including the charge that
he paid for his wife's
abortion.
