You deride but do not deny that not only did Iman have family in Somalia, but that she 
made a public appeal for aid for HER (not your) HOME country, which was heard more 
widely than some others , for better or for worse, because of her celebrity.  You do 
not deny the assertion I make concerning the actions of the Canadian troops in 
Somalia, but bring up the Italians, as if that is an "instead of" rather than an "in 
addition to."  None of the substance of your reply addresses my basic question (is 
there any way for the US, whether we act or forbear to act, even with the best of 
intentions, to save lives threatened by epidemic, famine or genocide, to avoid being 
unjustly slandered and having our motives superciliously impugned); however its style 
speaks volumes.
