i am preparing a presentation of veganism to a local activist group
involved with a lot of human rights issues, political issues, anti-racist
issues, feminist issues, and environmental issues. what i want to do is
to appeal to these other issues they hold so dear.
my hope is to apply the case for animals
to the issues they already pursue (i.e. for the feminists, i could make
use of some arguments from 'the sexual politics of meat'. if anyone has
any ideas at all please get back to me. i am really interested in
composing an argument combining classism and speciesism. any ideas,
brainstorms, opinions, would be much appreciated.

                                -kristina

p.s. i know unleesh has presented some brilliant ideas of this nature--if
you have anything to suggest i'd be your best friend.

we abhor injustice and fight with all we've got against the evils of
racism and sexism while we objectify bodies, encourage the suffering of
the innocent, and allow our environment to be degraded with every bite of
factory farmed flesh we eat and every sip of cow's milk we drink.
