A communication begins in the first person with two E-mails direct from the
women of Afghanistan stating in their own words and those of Amnesty "these
womens'" plight. "These women" are threatened with having their legs broken
if they so much as express themselves.
Yet all this is of no significance. No practical help is forthcoming or
even suggested. All we hear is that some 'feminists' cannot get beyond
their dialectic. "These women" are full of criticism.
"This man" intends to help.
Sometimes a great notion?
