Heather, you probably believe that I'm from the Department of Ology in the College of
Knowledge, and could never Spin and Spiral with Websters and Positively Revolting Hags
(I do every solstice, equinox and cross-quarter), but let me hasten to assure you that
I like reading Mary Daly, and have read a lot of her work (she's a Hoot - as in a wise
owl testifying in the darkness). In that sense, I'm logically multilingual, and try
to apply the proper tool/sign system to each individual task. I LOVE the Wickedary
(being Wiccan myself) as a grand recapturing of the feminine and pagan roots of
language (and mourned when she and Jane Caputi broke up; what a collaborative team
they made!), and also Pure Lust, and am looking forward to reading Quintessence. Of
course, her critiques of patriarchal religion, along with those of Rosemary Radford
Ruether, are indispensable. Have you read Merlin Stone, Marija Gimbutas Carol Christ,
Naomi Goldenberg and Riane Eisler? Probably, I imagine, !
!
but if you haven't, they're yummy munches!
