the best definition of radical feminism I know is
- feminists acknowledge that women are oppressed by a patriarchal system
and want the opportunity to participate equally in any and all aspects of
society
- *radical* feminists acknowledge that the patriarchal system oppresses
*all* aspects of society and want to replace the system altogether.
that's kind of a thumbnail sketch -- let me know if it's helpful.
(using this as a definition of "radical fem," I would think then it would
be easier to talk about deep ec, etc as social movments which seek to
change the way we live no the planet -- transform it completely.)
