Call for Entries. QAR is seeking art in all media for a June 1999 juried web exhibit that addresses issues facing young queers. Have your work seen by thousands of people from around the globe at the world's premier queer art website - QAR. This is an extraordinary opportunity for young artists. One thousand dollars in prizes will be awarded by our judges. There are no entry fees and all media are eligible for awards. Artists must be 23 years old or younger. All entries must be postmarked by March 25, 1999. The prestigious jurors include: Catharine Clark, Director, Catharine Clark Gallery, San Francisco; Jeffrey Lactoan, Arts & Media Coordinator, Lyric; Erin O'Neill, photographer; and Mitcho, artist, and Director, City of San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Youth programs.
