Just because they espouse love does not mean they mean it.
It usually means they use the bible as an excuse for their incredible
bigotry, and then throw in a few afterthoughts about "love" because
it is in the bible quite a lot and they like to think they are
really following the bible. My opinion of ever increasing conviction
is that almost all members of organised orthodox (or extremist
supremacists etc) Christian religion do not follow the philosophy
of Jesus.
Sorry to get off into religions opinion. It was just that my instant
reaction to your comment was that those people are generally basing
their lives on hatred, or the complete opposite of love.
