Most of you know about the 4-H/CE attack on animals and vegetarians during
their Oneida County Conservation Education Days. They promoted fur,
hunting, guns, bow-hunting, and attacked groups like Greenpeace, PETA, The
Humane Society of the US and the Fund for Animals (While ignoring real
environmental problems). You probably also know they've already held at
least one Satellite teleconference dedicated to the "Animal Rights
situation".
This Tuesday, the'll be holding another teleconference, and part of it
will be about the "Conservation Days" controversy. If you're near a
college, call their AV/media/Instructional Services and find out if they
can tape this meeting for you. Most departments like this have too much
time on their hands already, and you can probably find somebody to tape it
for you. Or call your Cooperative Extension (almost anywhere in the lower
48) and ask them to tape it for you (just don't let on which side of the
fence you're on).
This is important because it will give us an inside look at their point
of view, their real agenda, and their strategy. Don't let the innocent
sounding name fool you:
