Master's programme in Applied Environmental Measurement Techniques


Chalmers University of Technology will give an international MSc
programme in Applied Environmental Measurement Techniques. The
programme starts in september 1995 and ends in May 1996. A thesis
that will take about 3-4 months to accomplish follows. The whole
programme will be given in English using the method PBL,
Problem-Based Learning. At least 15 of the 30 students should be from
foreign countries. The four main themes are 1. Aquatic Environment 2.
Air quality 3. Geohydrology and Geochemistry and 4. Global
Environmental problems and Biogeochemical Cycles. Three additional
themes will be integrated into the main themes: Environmental
Statistics, Environmental Databases and Environmental Legislation.
Applicants are expected to show proficiency in English, e g by a
TOEFL test. A B Sc in a scientific or technical subject is required,
or studies corresponding to the three first years at a university of
technology in Sweden. Application date: 2 May 1995. NO FEE! Brochures
