Is Wood Lee serious? "Women simply need to have children...[or] somehow end up
mal-adjusted...."!! Incredible. Or maybe not. After all, the history of
men (and male-identified women) pathologizing women as mal-something anytime we
don't conform to male-defined codes of female bahvior is long and bleak. I'm
not mal-adjusted because I don't have kids; I'm mal-adjusted to statements like
this, and I intend to _stay_ mal-adjusted!

I, too found "Wood's" message patronizing and a major denial of what women
endure on a daily basis. My personal experience is that it IS intentional.
After decades of public discourse on this subject, NO ONE can seriously be
believed who claims that discrimination against women in colleges and the
workplace is anything but deliberate.
Pull your head out, wood.
