Replies. I want to see what other people think about competition vs
cooperation. Since this is a rather left-wing analysis of what is wrong
with society I was curious to see how people would react. One person said
a month or so ago, 'can I be a republican and still be an ecofeminist?' No
one replied. I was new to the list then so I didn't either. I would now
though. "no". I do not believe we can address issues of the environment
and feminism whilst still maintaining class inequality, and racism and
other structural inequalities.
As to my 'reds under the beds' it is just that here we have the perception
that Americans are not free to talk about communism. If we travell to
America we are asked the following
Are you or have you ever been a member of the comunist party?
We think this is a big joke. On another level of course it is not. But as
the internet could be monitored by CIA or FBI I wondered if anyone took
this seriously. Or perhaps just another conspiracy theory?
