My point was not that I disagreed with other ideas of what materialism is
but to point out that people have different ideas about what the word
means. You may think I'm wrong but my point is many people may have
differing ideas - not just me. It is entirely possible that the way the
word is used in the US is different to other places. I don't think it is
helpful to say that one persons idea of a word like that is wrong.
