Tiger trek to be tracked online

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Bengal Brothers are a couple of high-tech tigers.
The 1,882-mile journey of the white tigers from Sacramento, Calif., to New
Orleans' Audubon Zoo begins soon and anyone with access to the Internet can
tag along. Audubon Zoo went online Thursday with sneak previews of its
grandest acquisition this year. Web surfers are provided with
behind-the-scene details of the voyage of the 2-year-old, 270-pound tigers
with white fur, blue eyes and pink noses. The duo replaces Suri, a white
Bengal tiger who entertained visitors at the Audubon Zoo for 16 years until
her recent death. The www.NOLA.com Web site also features a long list of
facts about the Bengals: They can jump 15 feet in the air. They are
endangered. They devour four pounds of ground meat mixed with vitamins
every day. See full story
