Happy Mother'S Day.What it is
This is not widely known in India or atleast in Tamil Nadu state.But for the
past one or two years it is getting covered in media, particularly TV mainly
because of commercial interests.For example most programs on mother's
day in Tamil TV channels were sponsored by a manufacturer of baby food.
It is not unusual to find similar companies to sponsorprograms.Will any one
do so on World Breast Feeding Day . The point is even noble sentiments are
commercially exploited and these days (valentines,mothers) are used to make
people buy more,consume more and spend more time.
