Dear Miyuji Shiojima, I'm part of the Women and Environment Network in
Mexico, more than 80 grassroots organizations participate along with
adcademics. We are currently working together to include a gender
perspective in our national environmental legislation, supporting different
environmental grassroots organizations to include the gender perspective
and feminist organizations to consider the environmental perspective. I am
also part of an NGO: Corazon de Maiz, we identify ourselves as
ecofemininists and bioregionals, we organize environmental education,
appropriate technology and conflict resolution/consensus workshops.
I currently work for the Center for Global Education in Cuernavaca, Mexico
as a facilitator organizing travel seminars on global justice issues, the
Center is part of Augsburg University in Minneapolis, USA. Our pedagogy is
experiencial based in Freire's circle of praxis. We organize travel
seminars in Central America and Mexico all with gender and environment
perspective.
If you are interested we could exchange information.
Greetings.
Patricia
