Philosophy/Law/Rhetoric: Stephens College. Search re-opened for
full-time, tenure-track position in the Philosophy, Law and
Rhetoric Program at Stephens College (a small, private women's
college in Columbia, Missouri) to begin Fall, 1999. Duties: teach
legal writing and research, debate, argument and
interdisciplinary courses with legal and ethical dimensions.
Opportunity to create new courses in areas of the candidate's
academic strengths.

J.D. and master's degree in an area other than law required. Some
legal practice desirable as a background
for advising pre-law students. Commitment to scholarly research
required. Some teaching experience and positive teaching
evaluations preferred. Starting salary $28,000 minimum, depending
on credentials.
