Hey folks!
I went to a slide show on "green building" this
morning. That is, building with materials that are
less toxic than are commonly used for building. Did
you know that concrete is the second most used
substance on the planet, (used by humans, that is).
Second only to WATER. 6+ billion tons per year. Did
you know that carpet is toxic? Sends up formaldehyde
for us all to breathe. Think about that the next time
you are at the doctor's office, thinking about your
well-being and looking at the kids playing Legos on
the carpet. Anyway, the show was totally inspiring,
there are all these amazing people out there doing
amazing things. Anybody know more about it or if you
can suggest books, web sites, etc, I'd be into it!
