Philosophy/Religion: Truman State University (formerly
Northeast Missouri State), Kirksville, Missouri. Search
extended. Temporary Assistant Professor position in a joint
Philosophy and Religion program, beginning January 12 or August
14, 2000. Position renewable through Spring, 2002. Ethical
Theory or Philosophy of Art. Ability to teach Nineteenth Century
Philosophy and Social/Political Philosophy desirable. Teaching
duties each year include 3-4 sections of introductory level
courses (Ethics desirable; Introduction to Philosophy,
Philosophy and Literature, or Logic possible) and upper division
courses. Undergraduate teaching. Supervision of senior theses.
Completed Ph.D., teaching excellence, strong liberal arts
record, demonstrated scholarship, related experience desirable.
