The 'father figure' is symbolic of the 'oppresive' figure you're claiming
freedom from....anyway, society is still within the boundaries of tightly
controlled nation states, each with their own security to uphold so where
is the gain IF (emphasized, that is, I am not saying it is conclusive..)
one fine day you discovered that your fight against your police state for
freedom is but instigated by a equally skillful police state from another
country? What then? Belongs to one police state fighting another police
state. Repeat: just a notion.
