SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS

Second Biennial

NATIVE AMERICAN STUDIES CONFERENCE -  U.S. AND CANADA

April 13-14, 2000

Boise State University Boise, Idaho

The conference will focus on a variety of issues pertaining to Native
American Studies/First Nation Studies an of interest to the Native
American/First Nations communities.  Papers/presentations, symposia,
workshops, poster presentations are solicited. Papers should conform to a
20-minute format. Individuals interested in organizing symposium or
workshops should contact the conference Chair. Submission of papers in all
areas of Native American/First Nations research and from all disciplines are
welcome.   Indian gaming, health issues, economic development, education,
language, environment, land use, tourism, and many other areas of research
are of interest and will be considered for inclusion.

Those interested in participating should:

Submit paper abstracts by February 29, 2000
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words
A single hard copy and a diskette with an abstract written in WP 8.0 or
MSWord should be submitted
