The full program of the Conference on Paradigms in World History -- to be
held at Binghamton University on March 3rd-4th -- is now on line at the
conference's website at:  http://history.binghamton.edu/conference/.

The conference will have plenary sessions addressed by Professors
Christopher Chase-Dunn of Johns Hopkins University and Bruce Mazlish of
M.I.T., as well as featured presentations from Professors Robert Strayer of
SUNY College of Brockport, Kevin Reilly of Raritan Valley College, and W.
Warren Wagar of Binghamton University.  There will be panels on:

* Cases, Contexts and Comparisons in the Presentation of World History
* Regional Studies and World History/Global Studies
* The Arts and World History
* Environment, Population, and World History
* Comparative Diasporas: Migration and World History
* Religion and World History
* Gendering World History
* Post-Colonialism and World History/Global Studies
* Conceptualizing World History Texts and Materials

Registration can be done on line, but please note that there will be an
added fee of $5 for those registering after February 15th.  The conference
will be limited by its facilities (the Public Service Program Center at
Binghamton University) to approximately eighty to ninty participants, so
please register as soon as possible.
