To address this overarching question, the Oregon summer symposium has assembled a group of leading scholars in the U.S. and abroad to examine the cultural phenomenon known as globalization along with the changing practices of the humanities and social sciences. "Very Busy Right Now: Harriedness and Globality," "Globalization and Ecological Criticism," "Doing Cultural Studies Inside APEC," and "Globalization, Desire, and the Politics of Representation."
