The meeting will be held February 22-24, 2001 at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento, California. The theme of the conference is "Politics and Realities of Wildlife Conservation at the start of the 21st Century." Abstracts are solicited for sessions that may include Deer Management, Wildlife Toxicology, Seabirds, Wetlands and Waterfowl, Habitat Restoration and Management, Reptiles and Amphibians, Forest-Dependent Wildlife, Technology, Carnivores, Large Mammals, Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley, Sierra Nevada, Southern California, Northern California, Great Basin and Deserts, Nevada, Hawaii, and general papers. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words (title and author addresses are not included in word count) and should be in Arial 12 pt font. Indicate the preferred session and if the paper will be an oral presentation or poster.
