SOCIETY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMERICAN PHILOSOPHY

Special Graduate Student Session
at Annual Meeting of
The Pacific Division of the American Philosophical Association

March 28 - April 1, 2001
Renaissance Parc 55
San Francisco, CA


This special session encourages Graduate Student participation and
collaboration in an ongoing discussion of American Philosophy. Papers may
focus on any historical or contemporary aspect of American Philosophy.
Topics that explore intersections between American philosophy and
liberatory philosophical traditions (i.e., race theory, feminism,
disability studies) are encouraged.

Papers should be limited to twenty minutes reading time (approx. 10-12 pp.)
 Papers longer than 14 pages will not be considered.   Papers must be
prepared for blind review (author's name and affiliation on title page
only) and must be received by October 16, 2000.  Send (3) copies of paper
or proposal to the session chair:
