Come to Corvallis, Oregon, USA in October for the Wood in World Rivers
Conference! 

October 23rd is fast approaching. Have you registered to attend? The final
program schedule for the 1st International Conference on the Ecology and
Management of Large Wood in World Rivers is now available for your viewing
pleasure on the conference website at:

Hundreds of participants and speakers from Europe, Asia, Africa and North
America will be attending this conference. Undergraduate students who register
will be offered a fee waiver. Graduate student registration fees are only $35.
One-day registration passes for faculty and non-students will be $60. Full
registration for the entire 5-days is $300 and includes a CD-Rom of all
abstracts and a Wood in Rivers Bibliography. Field trips are being offered at 4
different locations in the Pacific Northwest.  Please join us in exploring the
links between the primary information of the physical and ecological dynamics of
large wood, resource management systems, and the communities and cultures in
which they are applied.
