Subject: Job Opening
The Women's Studies Program at Temple University seeks to hire a
Visiting Assistant Professor. Applicants should have completed all
requirements for a Ph.D. in Women's Studies or a related field in the
Liberal Arts. Candidates trained in a traditional discipline should also
demonstrate interdisciplinary training and an interest in feminist or
gender studies. The candidate will teach three undergraduate courses
each semester, including Introduction to Women's Studies, International
Women's Writing, American Women's Lives, and Feminist Theory and
Methods. She or he will also participate in ongoing curricular
development, and take an active role in the life of the Women's Studies
Program. One year appointment; renewable up to six years. Please send
cover letter, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation to:
