FUTURE STEWARDSHIPS INTO INFINITY:
Every boy and girl among our children

Many more people can be called easily, and added to the ARK website.
Suggest/volunteer and add your own stewardship pairs on our Guest Book
and consider the following:

The above starter list of stewards for the world, and for the
US where it is so especially needed, was drafted, recruited,
ennumerrated and generated to achieve and model a concept of 50/50
that all could see as present and ready, so it can become practically
achieved, more or less, in soon self-transformed government in the
US,<A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/ark_earthinbalance/allships.html">
and all in other governments around the planet.</A> It is
offered to enliven public interest, awareness, celebration and
support for gender balance in stewardship and government to empower
what is good in culture and government for the benefit of all. The
stewardships of many nations are already launched, and many have
already landed. The ARK of the human spirit for natural and good
government has been sturdily built in the visions of many human
beings, and is sailing the world, cyberspace and world
consciousness. Don't let the US or any government be long left behind
in the bad-government soup of gender imbalance.

ARK Stewardships of Nations Are Always Gender Balanced, Work
as a Team, and Serve as Equal Partners in Status and Hierarchy. The
term of Co-Presiders is 3 months, with the suggested presiding
schedule as follows, starting 3/22/2001; when the shared term of
Co-Presiders ends, they of course still remain stewards and in their
national stewardship, and of course, in the ARK. But, in a sense,
these stewardship are really being launched by all people, in the names of
all men and women worldwide; they started as an important sections of
ARK, on the First Day of Spring of our New Millennium (3/22/2001).
For more information on the tasks of stewards and their national,
international and other jurisdictional stewardships,<A

StewardShips of nations or for international or world organizations,
are Inspirational, Symbolic Transformational gatherings of spirit and
action; functioning models, but not governments persay, wherever
gender balanced government does not already exist. Actual, official
gender balanced governments, where they don't ALREADY EXIST, are
being catalyzed by ARK and many others, <A
HREF="http.www.geocities.com/ark_earthinbalance/allships.htm">
</A>are hoped to phase in early in the period of service of the
stewardships;yet stewards of every nation will continue to coexist
with government to symbolize stewardship and will continue as long as
they are needed to insure that gender balanced leadership is well
understood and brought into being in all major governmental
organizations, state governments, and other national governments and
the UN, via mutual ARK ambassadorships of good will among nations.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

1. Come Aboard the ARK!
Explore the ARK website and see who we've already called Aboard to
create 50/50 gender balanced stewardship for the US, and
see where gender balance has already been successfully launched and
landed in other nations. Call and draft other well known women
and men for gender balanced stewardship, and sign your name to our
ARK Guestbook, and if possible, enter the name of an important person
of the other gender to come aboard with you, or a gender balanced
group of friends or family members. Recruit others in a like way;
famous and unknown --- all are equally welcome on the ARK.

2. Make sure your woman's (or men's, or voter's rights)
organization has a prominent section on gender balance and government
in their website, comparing and contrasting their nation and its laws
on important topics with those of other nations around the world.
Such topics would include: gender balance in offices of government
and legislatures, family leave, reproductive issues, women and men in
peacemaking and diplomacy, violence in society, judicial gender
balance, findings on differences and complementarities in women and
men's leadership styles, etc.

3. If you are a member of a civic organization, a political party,
or the like, ask yourself if its membership and leadership is gender
balanced. Express the opinion openly and often that decision-making
and official titles should be gender balanced, and sensitive to other
important balances that represent the people who are in your actual
community. Check to see that the letterhead of your organization is
gender balanced. Affirm yourself as you affirm others.

4. Use the Internet to announce the ARK to other people, who are,
after all, your sisters and brothers in your area and around the
world. Use Internet forums and newsgroups and chats where you
participate, and if you are motivated to reach many people, purchase
a bulk email program, (many are available when you type 'bulk email'
into a search engine) usually affordable to many men and women at
between $50-$300. Share your ideas, information from the ARK and
other websites on the issue of gender balance in government, such as
that of <A HREF="http://www.wedo.org"> WEDO </A> and <A
HREF="http://stars.coe.fr/doc/doc99/edoc8423.htm">the European
Parliamentary Assembly</A> with your friends or your organization,
and enjoy boarding, sailing, and landing in good government and a
more balanced and healthy culture and world together!

5. Make it clear to your political representatives and parties
that if election offerings are not democratic and gender-balanced,
you will register your name and sign in at the polling place but not
actually vote if the parties offerings for ALL offices are not
gender balanced, and tell them that many nations mandate gender balance
on party lists in Europe, Latin America, Africa and all around the
world, as you will read at the ARK website. Just say no to gender
imbalanced tickets for any office, from highest to lowest. Accept no
excuses, and point out the large numbers of talented and literate
women graduated from universities (the American Association of
University Women has had a t-shirt that reads "I Am A Future
President" for quite some time now), in retirement organizations, and
so on, who simply need to be treated with long delayed affirmation to
participate fully. Tell candidates and organizational leaders that if
they are not actively working for naturally gender balanced national
referenda of the type that most nations and states ALREADY HAVE, you
are not for them in office. Inform them that many nations provide
coalition lists involving many parties, instead of encouraging
polarization and division among parties, and that the failure
to provide political flexibility is an outgrowth of unigender
domination modes and hierarchy.

6. When you shop or are telemarketed: Ask the shop manager or
telemarketer if the stockholders, stakeholders, and officers
of the compan(ies) they serve are about equally male and female.
Read the section of the website devoted to world economic
organizations and balanced economic modeling, at

7. If you live in a family, if possible, see to it that the most
important decisions are mutually and lovingly arrived at in a mode of
equality and balance. Take stock of the gender balances and
imbalances in your own family, their history in relation to the
societies in which they have lived, and envision yourself and your
family many years and/or generations into the future.

8. If you are in a close relationship with a person of the other
gender, romance or please and empower your spouse, significant other
or friend by telling them that you want to share the Co-Presidency of
your nation with them!

9. Bring a Gender Balance Sign to your local Earth Day
Celebration. Signs might read: "Naamah and Noah saved and stewarded
their earth, shouldn't we steward ours?". "Think Globally and Act
Locally for Gender Balance in Government and a Healthy Sustainable
Earth" etc., etc., etc., Draw arks with male and female and/or
yin-yang symbols. Use your imagination. Make sure the topic of more
or less 50/50 gender balance in government and culture is addressed as
an essential aspect of ecological balance and stewardship.

10. If you have more ideas; add them to the ARK Guestbook, or make
a website of your own!

At the website, and more important, in your thoughts and actions:
all aboard ark!
