The Northwest Environmental Education Council (NWEEC) is hosting a free public
lecture: "The Science and Implications of Global Warming" in Seattle, at the Queen
Anne Community Center on June 12, 2001, at 7 P.M.

Mr. Roel Hammerschlag from the Institute of Lifecycle Cost Analysis (ILEA) will be
leading us on an informative and entertaining overview of global climate change, the
science behind future climate predictions, and the implications of rising world
temperatures. Mr. Hammerschlag is a member of the Green House Network of speakers
working throughout the Pacific Northwest to raise public awareness on global warming
issues.

This workshop is intended for the general public. Friends and family are welcome.
