CALL FOR PAPER PROPOSALS
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN LATIN AMERICA

We are proposing a book on Environmental Issues in Latin America to a major
academic publisher who has already expressed strong interest in publishing
such as book. The book will consist of a collection of original papers by
scholars in this area interested in contributing one or more papers, either
as solo authors or in collaboration with others. We seek scholarly papers
that deal with environmental issues at local, country, or international
level, always within the Latin American context and with emphasis on an
interdisciplinary approach. Papers will deal with a great variety of issues
including, but not limited to, environmental economics, conservation
biology, environmental policy, environmental ethics, environmental history,
environmental justice, and environmental science. All papers will be
peer-reviewed.

If you are interested in contributing a paper, please send an email to
Aldemaro Romero ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or Sarah West
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) indicating your name, professional affiliation, and
a proposed title with a brief description of the paper(s) you are
proposing. Your communication will be understood as a "letter of intent"
meaning that you are interested in contributing without any obligation from
your part to do so nor from ours to publish your paper(s). Final decision
on the publication will rest in the hands of the publisher.

We look forward hearing from you.
