Hazen Education Prize. The Hazen Prize, made possible by a generous gift from the Hazen-Polsky Foundation, recognizes outstanding contributions to education in the history of science. Nominations may be made by any HSS member. The prize carries a $1,000 award and the winner's name is engraved on a perpetual plaque. Past winners include Gerald Holton, Liba Taub, and Stephen Brush. Please nominate a colleague by sending his or her name and contact information to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or to the HSS Executive Office, Box 351330, University of Washington, Seattle, WA 98195-1330.
